jediwizzo
Okay so I would like to have my clients be able to access just their jobs via the web portal. Is there a way to set access by say either a entered number or by a contact name? Also looking to do the same with like a time card so that employee 1 can not see employee 2. Any Ideas? Steven H. Blackwell
This is called [color:red]record level access and can be accomplished by having a field in the record automatically enter the Account name of the person who created it. Then when that field matches the Account Name, the user can see his or her own records but not those of others. If there are many records RLA can be slightly slow in browse mode. RLA is set in the Define Accounts & Privileges area. HTH Steven

Steven H. Blackwell
It's not in Define Accounts & Privileges. You must make a field and have it automatically enter the value when a record is created. Steven Edited January 6, 2006 by Guest
