I have a help file written in Adobe PDF. I am trying to write a script to open this file.

I used the Open URL and can get Adobe Acrobat Reader to open but cannot reference my PDF to open. Here is what I tried.

Open URL [student Records::LocationPDF

I defined a field called LocationPDF and put this in the calculation:

"C:Program FilesAdobeAcrobat 7.0ReaderAcroRd32"

This works, the adobe acrobat will open. What I cannot get to open is my file. It resides in C:Documents and SettingsadminDesktopstudent recordHelpStudentManual.pdf

What do I need to do to get this file to open after adobe opens? I tried two Open URL but it would not open either then. Thank you.

Ok, You won't beleive this. I orignally had done this and nothing happened. I just went back and tried again and it opened. Go figure. Thank you. Guess I just needed validation. Don't know what I was doing wrong the first time. The only thing I can think of is maybe I left the quotation marks off. Again thank you.
