What is the best way to walk into an existing system and understand all the database schema that currently exists. Is there a documentation feature in FM 5.5 - I don't see one listed in the user guide or help?

This particular system has about 50 tables and many interrelationships and I'd like to get a jump start. Where should I look? Thanks!

There are a couple of good ways:

The method with the least initial cost outlay is to use a copy of Filemaker 5.5 Developer Edition and use its Database Design Report.

The "best" method is probable a Macintosh computer with a copy of Analyzer 3.0 (requires Filemaker 5.5 Developer) by Waves in Motion. This will give you a capabilities similiar to the output of the Database Design Report, but give you an order of magnitude more options. Although this method requires the greatest initial outlay it will more than pay for itself, possibly in this project alone.
