Is there a quick script that commits all records in all open windows. Some times a script is trouble because a cursor is still in an active field.

That may not really be what you want from a data integrity stand point. ("wildly" committing records everywhere - what if the user had a half spelled name in a record somewhere?). In your navigation scripts, carefully examine the circumstances and either commit data before leaving a window, or make the user stay in that window and explicitly commit data before they are allowed to move to the next window...
