Does anyone know of a good tutorial online for how to setup and use portals and relationships? I have read various posts on here about information not showing up, but I still cannot get mine to work.

I simply want records with 4 fields from another table to show up in a portal and nothing shows up.

Have you looked at the Help file. There is a section on Designing and creating Databases. Try "Creating and managing layouts and reports > Adding fields to a layout > Creating portals to hold related records".
