OpenURL & IWP giving me a hard time!!!

Featured Replies

OK, I am trying to have IWP open a folder on my intranet. The path that I specify works fine when I click the link in Filemaker. In IWP it does not.

This is the path specified to open...

"file://gpengineeringengineeringWorkingDocumentsPrototypeTonyT008029394SP"

It works in Filemaker. It opens up the folder "gpengineeringengineeringWorkingDocumentsPrototypeTonyT008029394SP" in windows explorer.

In IWP it changes the URL and tries to open

Is there a way to get this to work?

Make a container field, and import the document you want to open.

Make a new field (calc) GetAsText(container) result text

Have a look at this path. If you post it I can help you further
