Happy holidays all:

quick background - im working in an inventory file which contains ALL of our material we produce and sell.

Im working on an inventory report which consists of all sub summaries and a trailing grand summary.

one sort breaks the report into two groups, export and domestic and another summarizes the costs of the individual material types. the material types would be the "line item" part of the report.

what i would like to be able to do is to generate a percent of the total cost (total cost being the total amount of each export and domestic) of each type of material.

i can generate these percents based on the total of the entire inventory (which is in the trailing grand summary) but i can not seem to get the calculation right to break those percentages down based on that export domestic sub summary

if anyone can help it would be appreciated.
