One thing missing from FM Pro is an entity relationship diagram. Is it available in the Developer version? If yes but I can't afford the developer version, is there a cheaper alternative software existing on the Mac platform?

I believe the latest version of Analyzer from Waves in Motion does this.

Actually it is Visualizer from Waves in Motion. Analyzer is text based analysis of the solution.

The bad thing about most E/R software is that they also perform database creation and most of them are sickeningly expensive, like thousands of dollars. They are well worth it if designing client-server databases, but bad for documenting desktop databases.

Visualizer is really nice and works well with Filemaker, I highly recommend it.
