When I open remote I can see and open the sample file, but cannot see my file.

Client - Mac Tiger with FM advanced 8.2

Server - Mac Tiger the FM Server 8.1

My privliege sets are the same in both files.

Both are located in the database folder

Owner ship is the same for both

Owner filemaker - Group fmsadmin

I have restarted and reset and restarted again

I tried owner fmserver - group fmsadmin as suggested in a different topic on this forum, but that did not work either

The status is normal for both. I did close and reopen my file that did not help

I set this up two weeks ago and I could see both files and open both files. Today I replaced my file with new file (I had made changes at home) I trashed the old file so not conflicts would appear. Now I cannot see my file. Any thoughts

You need to turn on the FileMaker networking before you load onto the server.

In FMP 7 that's on FileMaker > Sharing > FileMaker network

and switch it on for ALL USERS.

(I fell for this one myself a few weeks ago)
