I'd like to use the Auto-complete option for a field, but the process has become very slow. (There are 46,000 records, which might be part of the problem. The solution is served on a Windows network) Is there anything I can do to speed things up?

Perhaps indexing the field might help, but I have tried this on a file that has a similar number of records and it was very slow. As an alteritive you may want to define the field as a drop down menu using the field as a reference for your dropdown using the autocomplete (typeahead)feature in the valuelist.
