fmserver won't launch databases automatically

Featured Replies

I've successfully installed fmserver 5.5 on a redhat linux box and it seems fast and stable. However when started fmserver won't automatically launch the databases in /var/fmserver directory. I've checked permissions on the files and they are fine. It will only open the files when I run the command 'fmserverd open /var/fmserver/*' Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the autostart databases feature working?

I think it has something to do with the naming of the files. I remember reading something about this in one of the other forums.

This dosn't help you much, however it may steer you in the right direction.

All the best.

Check the FMServer Red Hat Linus White paper on the FMI web site. I believe this issue is covered.

Try search for Red Hat or redhat. Zero results!

Why they do not use Atomz?:
