PDF creation bug with international characters

FMP 8v2 fixed most of the Font problem, when embedded in the automatically created PDF file.

Before FMP 8v2 my automatically created PDFs where blank (they where fine when created through MacOS X "save as PDF" function).

... unfortunately there still is a BIG problem : international characters (accented for example) do not show up corretly :B they show as squares.

Again, the PDF created through MacOS X is perfect though....

 

Did anyone notice that ? Is it a well known bug ? Is filemaker aware of it ?

FWIW, I've certainly noticed it. Using a Truetype font (rather than a Type 1 or OpenType) seems to fix the problem.

I discussed this issue with FileMaker support before 8v2 came out. I hope they don't think they've fixed it!
