Is there anyway to prevent filemaker from creating new records with keyboard shortcut "Control N"??? People are unknowningly creating of blank records in our database. (they usually have a button to make new records)

In the password definition, change menu access to "Editing Only" or "None."

I don't know if there is a way to disable keyboard shortcuts, but you could make a rule that would prevent saving blank records (validate your key fields with "not empty"/"required value")
