Is it possible to check whether an account exists within a particular database by passing an account name to fm?

... well not really, if you were logged in already i dont see how, but righto... is there any alternative?

You might try Disabling & Enabling the account, and trapping for the "User account does not exist" error code.

Or if the purpose is to create an account if it doesn't exist, simply delete it, and create it again.
