Still planning the killer database...

I want to have a main database with tons of company info, and have other databases (secondary)that can search (find) records on the main database and allow the secondary databases to make notes that are attached to the main data, but remain on the secondary. Hope that wasn't too confusing. Makes sense to me.

I've ordered some books, but can't wait for Amazon to deliver... any advice?

What you want to do is a little general.

If you don't want to wait for your books to arrive, look through the templates that come with FileMaker. Don't warry if you don't understand them all.
