Hi,

I have some problem about to use FM,I have two question below

1. If I have one field all "A" and the other one call "B" and I nees a condition in "A" to select popup list How can I do if I have 2 values list to select from condition "A"

2.in the caculate box can we use external command? such as function in script?

Haruthai, I'm sorry, but I don't understand your questions.

1. Can you please give us an example of what you mean? Field A has two value lists??? Are you asking how to use conditional value lists?

If you go to the FileMaker 5.x Help and do a search for "subset values value list," you'll find good information.

2. Again, I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're asking. External command??? Scripts and fields both have many calculated functions available. A specific example of what you want to do would help a lot.
