Newbies PinkFloyd315 Posted January 27, 2006 Newbies Posted January 27, 2006 Hi folks; I have always received excellent answers to my queries and I am hoping that this trend continues. Any assistance you can provide is, as always, appreciated. In a data entry form is there an easy way to create drop-down options that may, or may not, offer secondary options and even offer third options. Something like: 1 Option with 2 sub-options (like 1A, 1B) 2 Option with 3 sub-options and the 3rd choice has 2 sub-options as well (like 2A, 2B ,2Ci, 2Cii) 3 Option with 4 sub-options with the 2nd and 4th choices having 2 sub-options as well (like 3A, 3Bi, 3Bii, 3C, 3Di, 3Dii) I could not get this post to show it graphically but in essence I only want the sub-options to appear if the heading that offers the options is chosen. I do hope I am making myself clear.
Lee Smith Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 It's called conditional value list. This topic comes up from time to time. Do a search of the [color:red]Forum using the keywords of [color:blue]+Conditional +Value +List (Be sure to include the pluses as shown)and and you should find plenty of information. Lee
