Erratic field export behavior

Hi,

Every night at 1:00AM I have a script run that exports data from all my fields into a merge file. For some reason, one of the fields (called JobCostBasedonInvoice) is blank for 80% of 20,000 or so records. It's just a standard number field, nothing fancy.

When I run the script manually in the middle of the day, it works fine...

Any idea why something like this would happen?
