some plug-ins won't load

I'm running FM8 Advanced on a Mac. A plug-in a friend is developing loads on my laptop but not on my iMac. I've swapped extension folders as well as thrown out my preference folder, all to no avail. Any ideas? Other plug-ins that I've purchased load ok.

What's the laptop? Same OS version? Same version of FileMaker? Any other plug-ins installed?

An iBook G3 running 10.3.9.

I have 3 Troi plug-ins on both machines Serial, File, and Grabber which work ok.

The iMac G3 is running 10.3.8

Thanks. That does seem to be the case at least with regard to this plug-in, although I've been running FM8 with other plug-ins on this machine. I'll upgrade right away.
