February 3, 200619 yr Newbies We're experiencing a problem with a FM7 application being accessed via a Citrix Metaframe XP server. When the remote user connects and views the FM7 app in Citrix, the "sort records" command is disabled, although we are certain that command is enabled in the privileges for that user. We're wondering if there is a firewall issue, as this application is set up on a network in a school environment. The user is connecting from outside the school network. When connecting via Citrix inside the school, the "sort records" is available, but outside the school network, the "sort records" is disabled. If this is a firewall issue, we're not sure what to do about it. Citrix server is Windows 2K3 box running FM7 and points to the FM7 application running on FM Server7 on a Mac. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
February 4, 200619 yr I don't see how this could be a firewall issue. There has to be something with the account that is used. Try it from the outside with different accounts that have different priv sets.
