This should be another easy one, and I even found a reference on google to a sample file that does this, but its a dead link. :)

Anyhow, I just want to vaslidate that the content enter into the "email" field is valid. I don't want it going out to the mail server to validate, or anything like that. I just want it to say, yes you've got am @ sign and a . and a "com" or whatever.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Which is of no use for you, since it includes a recursive CF, which means that you need to convert it to a scripted validation.

But I would guess that Dick Honing from http://ecxs.com/ from whom the CF stems have done so way before FM7 ...so he might have something for FM6.
