Rob Tito Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 field based triggers (like leave modified field trigger) layout trigger (leave modified layout (window) trigger) true embedded or stored procedures, trigger, event and/or time driven
Søren Dyhr Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 You have both, but perhaps not with the connection to scripting you would wish for ...but don't forget CF and ordinary calcfields. The first is: http://www.newcenturydata.com/downloads/checkbox_control.zip The second is native validations, that runs when a layout is committed. If the stored procedure sole purpose is to produce records in a join table, investigate this: http://www.clevelandconsulting.com/support/viewtopic.php?t=299&highlight=smartranges --sd
SteveB Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 (edited) Dacons (www.dacons.net) just anounced Scriptfire which looks kind of interesting, since it supports firing scripts based on various time intervals and settings as well as leaving fields, and other events.
