February 9, 200619 yr Well where do I put this question!? I've recently moved from 7 to 8.0v2. I use underlines at the beginning of (some) field names. But the underlines won't display. I've noticed the same thing in script field-selection popups. In some of my views, several underlined fields in a row won't display the underline. But it's always missing on the first field. I don't recall (and can't find after searching) any discussion on this. Is this a bug or a feature? Windows and/or Mac? Screen res? 8.0v2 and not 8.0v1? XP and/or ... etc ... No, it's no REAL big deal. But if there are added benefits to this behavior, I'd sure like to take advantage of them. And if this non-Underline feature can be toggled ON/OFF then I'd like to know that also. Thank you! LaRetta Edited February 10, 200619 yr by Guest
February 10, 200619 yr Author Okay, so it doesn't ignore the underline in 8.0v1 on XP, thanks Daniele. Am I to assume I'm the only one experiencing this issue? I've changed the picture (above) to include more fields and it is easier to see. If you look in the new picture at the bottom you will see the number of repetitions also cuts off. This is happening in several display boxes. If I'm the only one with this problem, it means it is something with my system. I wonder if it is a system font issue. I have tried changing my screen res and reinstalling FMA but it hasn't helped. It doesn't happen on 7.0v3 on XP Professional at work but DOES do it when I just installed 7.0v3 on this system. I'm at 1024x768 32-bit color. But I've tried all my res settings and dropping to 16-bit and it still happens. This is a brand new Dell (XP Professional 2002 SP2) and fresh install of FMA 8.02 and [color:red]I haven't changed ANYTHING! I know!!! Maybe I'll put this new 19-inch hi-res flat panel on my backup system and go back to my 17-inch CRT. ROFLMAO! LaRetta Edited February 10, 200619 yr by Guest
February 10, 200619 yr Author Oh Mike ... I had changed from default XP blue Theme to XP silver. And I had increased (what I thought was only) my icon font size. But when I set the display back to default XP Blue, it fixes it so I must have somehow changed the system font. So, the next time a User swears they haven't done anything don't believe them (I red-bolded my prior FIRM statement). I'm very pleased that it was just me ... I type calcs instead of double-click selecting them and it was driving me nuts. LaRetta
