Clipboard to FileMaker

Featured Replies

I've got text in the clipboard that paste fine in textedit but refuses to paste into a text field in FileMaker. If I paste the text into textedit, I can then copy the text from there and paste it with no problem in FileMaker. Has anyone else run into this issue? The text is html source code.

Pasting directly into a field (Cmd V) will keep the text attributes of what was copied. By Chance is the Text White?

Try Cmd Ops V and see what happens.

No, the text isn't white. The problem is that the paste function is greyed out when the I select the textbox. If I paste the contents in textedit and then select all and copy, I can then paste into a textbox in FileMaker. I have no clue why this would happen.

I have Panther, and Advance, and have not experienced this at all. Also, it is the first that I can remember it being mention on any of the lists that I subscribe to.

Perhaps this has something to do with the Tiger, Font, or corruption.

Is this just one text field, or any text field, in any layout, in any file?

[color:red]In other words, have you tried this same copy and paste with a different file?
