Newbies Sung Joon Kang Posted February 10, 2006 Newbies Posted February 10, 2006 Just wondering if there is a way to find a date/time stamp of the last time a filemaker db/solution was developed on. i.e. last time a layout/table/script was created. Perhaps a hidden Get() command..? If there is no such thing, could you suggest other methods of getting this type of information? Thank you in advance for your help. Sung Joon Kang
Lee Smith Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 You might check out the Utility MetadataMagic by New Millennium Communications, Inc. There is a working demo you can download from there site Here The other way would be to create a Audit Tracking system. HTH Lee
Newbies Sung Joon Kang Posted February 13, 2006 Author Newbies Posted February 13, 2006 Thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately, I am needing to extract the information from an existing system to verify when it was last changed instead of needing to set up an audit trail moving forward. MetaDataMagic looked promising, but unfortunately, our FM solution is version 7. Thanks again.
Lee Smith Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I thought that they had released v7 of MDM, but I see they are still working on it. I'm not even sure that it would have done what you wanted to anyway. For now, I think you are stuck with whatever information you can get from a DDR, Lee
