Nephron Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Hi gang, When using a web browser to interact with my database, clicking certain buttons (for example, to select a particular item in a portal and display its full content in fields that I have placed on the form), the browser goes into "Submit" mode, waiting for the user to click on the Submit button on the left side of the web page. The functionality is not affected, and the user can continue to interact with the database, however, it appears that Filemaker is giving the user the chance to edit some of the fields and submit their changes. I would like to be able to use a script equivalent of clicking the submit button. Is there such a script step? Cheers!

Nephron Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 Hmmm, I thought that I had tried it and found it to not work, but I tried it this time and Presto! I have placed the commit record step at the end of the script. That may have done the trick. Cheers!
