February 20, 200619 yr OK, maybe there is another way to do this but I wanted to keep it simple so maybe there is a good suggestion out there. I have a portal, within which I may have 1 record, and may have as many as 150 records in it. I want to format a page to print the records in the portal but I cannot seem to find a way to do this so it uses only as many pages as necessary. If I put in 'show 75 records', the portal takes up more than one 8.5x11 page on my page layout, but I assumed that if I clicked the box in the the sliding/printing feature, it would ignore the format. This seems not to be the case. Do I have to print from the other file altogether, formatting a page exactly the same but using the records instead? Please let me know how to solve this relatively simple issue. thanks
February 20, 200619 yr Sean: The recommended procedure is indeed to print from the related file. That way, you can fully control the page layout and sliding, whereas viewing the line-items in the portal allows you none of that control. -Stanley
