SteveB Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 Neither v6 nor v8 prohibits more than 1 portal on a layout. Where the problem arises is that you will have problems going to the 2nd thru nth portal. To get around this problem, put a non-enterable field that is unique to each portal on the 1st row. Here is my invoice [in Browse Mode] http://69.137.5.95/msa_invoice.pdf 'Current Reimbursables' is a portal. This works great. 'Professional Services detail' is a repeating field [i know, I know]. And this is where I want the portal, so I can bring in data from a file called 'Tasks Accomplished. Can you give me a little more of a hint to get me going on making this work? it needs to show running balance [i have a plugin for that]. Thanks for the kind help.
