So, I'm having a huge problem with DDR creation.

Either HTML or XML; doesn't matter. I get errors in the middle indicating "Expected whitespace." ??!!??

When the report creation finishes, I get the primary frame that has the overall information about the total numbers of value lists, relationships, etc., but there is no other data.

I trouble-shot a bit and discovered that the DDR creation will only work if I exclude the LAYOUT data. (Huh?) I tried a recovery on the file, but it had no errors in recovery and fixed nothing.

Anyone see this problem or know how to fix it? My DDR is really lacking without any information about the layouts. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Although I haven't run the DDR for a while, I remember having the same problem. Was your solution converted from a v6 or earlier? My was, and I'm gussing that something left over is causing the problem...unfortunately I don't know what.

No, it was not converted from 6. I build it from the bottom up.

Agaain, the problem is only with the Layout information; if I deflag it in the DDR creation options window, I have no problems.

Weird...anyone else with ideas?

No idea really but ... the message suggests to me that it is looking at objects on a layout that are overlapping or overlayed or similar. I'de be looking for things like that in the layouts.
