msadesign Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Hi everyone, I am pretty much familiar with FM. I have been using a home-grown solution that started in 2 [?] and has grown over the years and has served me very well. Now, I want to automate some of the tedium, and need some help. The relevant tables are proposal, invoice, and tasks [a simple flat list with the usual taks-list fields]. My invoice is attached, in layout form, and the relevant area is highlighted. What I want is: I want all tasks for the project to appear in the portal. I want to scroll the portal, and assign the curent invoice number to tasks as appropriate. Then, I want the resulting list to be sorted by date completed. It sounds easy but I cannot get beyond the point I show. Help! Michael [ps: you can see that I have a similar situation with my reimbursables, also on the same invoice layout, but I figure the same solution will apply to both].
