Can't find email addresses

Hi all. Maybe I left my brain at the grocery store yesterday, but when I search in my customer email field (which is a text field, nothing unusual), and I enter an email address such as tberry@aol.com, it comes up with nothing, even though tberry@aol.com is there. Is it because of the @ symbol? Is there a work around? Thanks much!! Terri - Storm Cellar

You are right in suspecting the "@", which has its own meaning in FileMaker. To find the "@", you need to proceed it with "", so your search needs to be: "tberry@aol.com".
