I'm tempted to try to learn how to write a plug-in that gives me specific control over whether a scroll wheel movement will scroll between records, nice in list view, or up page, down page.

Any ideas?

Scroll wheel activity is mostly controlled by the OS. Support for scroll wheel was greatly imporved in FMP 7 and 8.

Hi Mostly, Well, it seems that the controlling factor is whether the cursor is in a field or not. Seems to me one should be able to click a check box in Layout Options dialogue,

X- Move between records

X- Move up and down page
