March 10, 200619 yr Newbies HI there, FM directed me to this site for help finding a solution. I am a sole proprietor designing, making & selling fabric baby carriers from my own website. I would like a FM database to help me track inventory of my raw materials (fabric yardage), inventory of finished products (each product requires 3 yds of fabric) , import sales data from the website and convert to work orders, and calculate fabric & item inventory based on the sales data & work orders, relate sales to customer data (wholesale & retail), tell me when I'm low and need to reorder materisl, correltate to QUickbooks, and have a calendar function that tells me what is due when, etc. The FM "Business Productivity" template is close to what I need, but not quite robust enough. Surely there is somethign out there that will handle most of my needs. I know I'm not the only small designer/ retailer around... I'd love some advice! (needs to be Mac friendly and not too pricey).
