I am trying to create a conditional value list. I have a crew table(among others)and a line item table. the crew table has a crew type field. This is either labor, admin or management. In the line item table i want to have a portal for labor, admin and management and have the pop up list only show those crew types. I created three global calc fields with the word labor, admin and management and related them to the crew type (three relationships crew_lab, crew_admin and crew_mgt). The value list for labor I have tried, value from field, crew name, only related values from crew_lab. nothing pops up. I have tried starting from crew_lab and only related to crew. nothing pops up. If I use crew_lab all values I get all with admin and mgt. What am I doing wrong. Should I just make a crew labor table a crew adimin table and a crew mgt table, or can I do it with the one. I hope I have not confused you too much, any help would be greatly appreciated.
