Custom menus based on privilege set

Can custom menus be assigned across an entire file based on the privilege set? I would like the full menu as an administrator BUT abbreviated custom menu for the end-user based on their privilege set.

I haven't tried this (just getting into cuatom menus myself) but perhaps a script can be made that uses the Install Menu Set step to install the appropriate menus.

Alternatively, create separate layouts for each privilege set and specify the menu set on a layout-by-layout basis.
