I've tryed to host an FMP8 file on server 7. At first glance, it seems to work even the tabs, has anyone done this, any know problems, can this be recommended?

I've been doing this for 6 months now, and I'm still too lazy to upgrade my server to 8. (Mostly because I want to do a clean install when I upgrade to 10.4, and that means taking the server down)

All the UI features have worked great, but the new date/time search patterns don't work, and some new calculation functions won't work (the ones that evaluate on the server) There is a knowledgebase article for this.

As long as all the clients are on 8 and you trap with Get(ApplicationVersion) in the startup script, then users shouldn't have any inconsistent results.
