Entering values in a repeating field while displaying only some

Featured Replies

Hello -

I have a repeating field of 10 values defined in a file, but on the data entry layout, I have only room enough to display maybe 2 of the values from the field. I thought that the user could just enter values and hit tab or Enter to keep adding repetitions, but it looks like you can only enter two values if only 2 reps are displayed. The field doesn't expand for entry, at least, not as far as I can see. Am I missing something that turns this on, or is it not possible? I'm thinking of something similar to what happens when you type beyond the bounds of a text entry field... it expands so that you can keep entering data.

Thanks,

Jeff

Use a related table and a portal instead of repeating fields. Portals can display a scroll bar...
