One user, one license, two computers

Strictly speaking, it probably violates the licensing agreement.

But if you don't tell anyone, how would the folks who care find out?

FileMaker knows when another NETWORKED computer as the same serial numbered installation if both are on. You get a "Maximum number of Users..." message. Otherwise, who's to know?

The question was about if this is legal. Perhaps reading the license agreement would help:

1.(d).

..."Additionally, the primary user of the computer on which the Software is installed may make a

second copy for his or her exclusive use on either a home or portable computer"...

Excellent! Thanks for the post. I never read those things. I just click 'agree' and get to work relying on the "don't ask, don't tell" principle.
