Hi, i have created functional database with filemaker 8. Now i have to create a stand alone application with filemaker 7 developer. (which i have)

By stand alone i mean that the user doesn't need to have filemaker to run the application.

I know this is possible, but how? thanks!

Are you aware that a number of features that exist in FM8 won't work in 7? Like Tabs, script variables, and probably others that I'm not aware of (maybe custom menus, tooltips, custom functions):) If you have used the tab widget, you're dead meat as everything will appear on top of each other on the same layout.

In v8 you would click on Tools, Developer Utilities, enter the files. Sorry, I never really got into v7...was a big yawn.
