I need to place a graphic and need the white background to be transparent. I wouldn't have to do this if there was a way to rotate text 90 in the IWP interface, all rotated text goes back when viewing online.

Do a search of the Forum for transparent and you should find a few livly discussions from the past There is even a sample file by Ender I believe that explains how to od this.
