Slobey
Can anyone shed some light on the difference in performance between a summary field and a sum calc field? The databases I generally work with do not have that many records and I have not seen a great performance difference. Will either work faster or slower when the record number increases? Any input will be appreciated, Thanks Mike
Ender
It's not really a question of performance. They each have different uses. When working with found sets, summary fields are usually used. When working with relationships, aggregate calcs are used.
