Newbies Laura H Posted May 8, 2006 Newbies Share Posted May 8, 2006 I'm trying to learn more advanced FileMaker, but can't find what << name>> means. In several templates there are references to <> <> and similar. These are clearly field names, but I can't find any information in Help, programming books, or the FileMaker knowledge base about what the << name >> means and how to program these things. John Mark Osborne Posted May 8, 2006 Share Posted May 8, 2006 These are called merge fields and they work just like a merge field in a word processor.
