Newbies Cloudrunner Posted May 16, 2006 Newbies Share Posted May 16, 2006 Ok i have just started to use the find function of filemaker to make it easier to find certain records. My problem is that once i have found the record i was looking for i cannot get back to the entire database with all of the records. It shows a total that is greater than 1 or 0 but i cannot navigate back to them. I have even tried deleting the record that find finds but i still cannot get back. Any help here would be appreciated! aldipalo
Just so you understand Ctrl-J is a hot key for "Records Menu>>Show All Records" When you perform a find only the found set is shown. FM isolates the found records so you can work with that smaller set. When you are finished working with the Found Set you can then go back to displaying "All Recodrs" either by using Ctrl-J or going to the menu bar and clicking on Records then "Show All Records."
