I am looking for a way to calculate the size of a picture placed in a container field. Needs to be expressed in bytes.

First thing that comes to mind is to use the "export field content" and run an Applescript (Perform Applescript script step) to get you the info and put it in a FM field.

Doesnt the Length() function work for containers?
