More than one field in a value list.

Featured Replies

I'm working on a customer database related to a time billing database. And in the time billing database I have a drop down box that has everyone's customer number in there that a person can select to pull there info from the other database. Is there a way that when a person selects the drop down box it shows not only the customer number, but the company name? But then when one is selected it puts only the customer number in the field?

Thanks, Nic

Define your value list with the setting "Use values from a field." Then select the checkbox, "Also display values from..."

i would like to see the second field when selecting but want both field to be displayed after it is selected.

Thanks

Andy

Andy H, if you want to bring the second field over along with the first, then make the second field a lookup based on the first field.
