Help with Case or IF statement

Featured Replies

  • Newbies

I have a three different price structure depending on which level a customer is buying at and so have to choose between 3 different prices on a lot of products.

I can't seem to get the choice in there. I just get a zero.

I have been trying a few things but don't seem to be able to get the answers to come up.

Help.

Bruce

Paste your Calculation.

Whenever scripts and calc's gets complicated, is it usually a syntom of a casual relational structure!

Especially with price matrix'es are Case( and If( nestings in my opinion the wrong choise. Such data needs to get stored in a separate table, where a calc'function like:

...lets you define nice and easy what value to use further in the price-calc'.

It's BTW lightning fast compared to a nested statement, Filemaker have similarities with spreadsheets - with the use of calc'fields, but using filemaker as a spreadsheet is wrong!
