Slobey Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Hi guys, I have a DB where I have it set to login using a guest account. I also have it set to launch an opening script. It may seem odd but the opening script checks the privilege set. The idea is that I can hold down shift key and log in as the admin with full access and when the opening script checks for full access it will not impliment some other security steps. The problem is that if I close the file while logged in as the admin, when I open the file again without holding the shift key, it still skips the security as if I am the admin. Does this make any sense? If so why would it do that. Doesn't it log in as a guest before running the start script? What could I be doing wrong? Thanks
Slobey Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 never mind, I had the script running with full access privileges, duh. thanks anyway. Mike
