Has anyone ever used the DialogMagic application located at http://www.newmillenium.com? It is mentioned in another discussion in this forum. I am looking for some feedback on how well this product works. Is it worth buying?

Dialog Magic is an excellent investment for the developer who needs to administer a lot of related databases. I have set up a control database to allow me to track and modify passwords and groups. Dialog Magic makes it easy. There are a number of things it can do which I have not finished incorporating into may developer databases, but certainly will, including record ID updatating and control over file copies, names and locations. Excellent product from a company that has developed the most astonishing business management suite, Genesis.

Dialog Magic is a free download that gives you a really good look at its power and potential. It is the most useful extension I have found for delelopers.

I was not able get it to load in Filemaker 5.5 and think it needs an upgrade for that, but I haven't heard back from the makers yet.

I have been using Dialog Magic in FM 5.5 since 5.5 was released without any problems. Did you add the plugin to the 5.5 FM Extensions folder?
