xsl import help

I am new to xml importing but have a series of songs in xml that I want to import into filemaker.

Format looks like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>



  Amazing Grace

  John Newton

  1982 Jubilate Hymns Limited

  Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me;

And I was able to get a sample xsl template from the filemaker extras that sort of works.  I have the fields matching but it imports no data.
