Beginner here. I'm creating a form letter which is fairly long. About 2 of my paragraphs plus the signature show up in the layout mode but not in preview mode. It looks like the text box is big enough to accommodate it, so I'm not sure what's wrong. Any suggestions?

I'm making a wild guess here but I bet the problem is that your field is not sized properly.

In the browse mode a field *almost* always will expand to fit the text as the user types. In the preview mode this is not the case. Your field must be manually sized (expanded) to fit the maximum amount of text that you intend to display. Because of this requirement very often there will be more white space than you really want. This problem can be fixed by selecting the field and choosing: FORMAT > SET SLIDING/PRINTING. If you set this properly your field will shrink to fit the content.

Also take a look at MERGE FIELDS. These fields are good for viewing/printing because they fit the content but can't be used for data entry because they are view only.
